On April 26, Pointlogic will attend for the first time the Operations Research Conference (ORC), with a challenging case for the participating students.
Organised by GEWIS, Industria and Asset | Econometrics, the 2017 ORC event has the theme 'Beat the Limit' and revolves around researching, developing and applying advanced mathematical, analytical models in order to facilitate the improvement of decision-making. It is broadly applicable, e.g. in communication network management, statistical learning, supply-chain management, pricing and revenue management, bio-informatics and production scheduling.
This places Operations Research at the heart of many contemporary problems, helping organizations and companies create efficient and useful systems.
During this year’s Operations Research Conference, the main focus will therefore be how to beat the limits. Together with other companies, Pointlogic, A Nielsen Company, will show how we push the challenges of effective media planning, innovate and go beyond what seems possible.
